Nonbinary is an umbrella term that describes people who do not identify as exclusively male or female. For those who do not fit into the "traditional" binary model of gender identity, it can be hard to feel comfortable working with a
body- work professional you are unable to share a common language with.
Phoenix has continuing education certifications in massage for trans- and gender-diverse individuals and is extremely passionate that those with traditionally more limited access are able to work with a professional massage therapist who understands their individual body needs.
